Hello, Is the out of state tuition of $27,000 is the cost of the whole 2 year program or is this cost for only 1 year of school? Please advise. Thank you. Sincerely, Arlene

I have an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) In Health Information Management which is a two (2) course program. My question is will I have to complete a two year program at your institution before you I can obtain this degree?
Hello Akeem! Thank you very much for your interest in our program! It appears that you have your degree from a foreign institution. You will need to order a WES evaluation (www.wes.org) to determine if your degree is the equivalent of an accredited A.S. HIM degree here in the U.S. In addition to that, we require that students have the RHIT credential. Do you happen to have your RHIT? I would love the opportunity to discuss this further, and answer any questions that you may have. Please contact me at 800-499-6813 x 464.
What are start dates for semesters? Or the next semester?

Please feel free to call me if you wish to discuss future semesters or if you have any additional questions at 800-499-6813 ext. 464.

If you take this four year program and become registered, will this be enough for top management positions? I currently have a masters and have a middle management job in rehabilitation services. I want to go into top management in the Healthcare field, but I do not want to do a four year and have to turn around and do an additional two for a Master’s degree in HIM. Please advise.
Hi Crystal, Our online B.S. in Health Information Management program is designed to help A.S. prepared RHITs earn their B.S. degree while preparing them to sit for the RHIA. Our curriculum is management focused, but as far as preparing you for “top management” positions, it really depends on your company’s requirements as far as degree and experience are concerned. It’s up to you if you would like to earn another B.S. degree, but as long as you have your A.S. from a CAHIIM accredited program as well as your RHIT, then you may be eligible for our program. I am happy to discuss this in more detail if you like please feel free to call me at 880-499-6813 ext. 464.
what is the duration of the course?
how can some one in nigeria be part of the programme?
what is the total cost to comlete the whole programme?
thank you as you rely on time
Hello Adam,
In order to apply you need to permanently reside in the United States as our program requirements (AS HIM/HIT from a CAHIIM accredited program, RHIT credentials, AHIMA membership, and GPA 2.6 or above) are obtained through United States institutions. If you live overseas temporarily, and/or have obtained your credentials and degree through the U.S., we may be able to work with you. Our program is six terms in length, and the cost to out of state students is $300 a credit hour. If you would like to discuss this, or have further questions, please call me at 800-499-6813 x 464.

I will be conferred my HIM.AAS (Associates of Applied Sciences) in June. I work a full-time job, so I’d like to know if you allow students to enter the program on a part-time basis.
Hello Chantel, yes! In fact our program was designed for the working professional in mind so it is designed to be a part time program.
