Keith Olenik, MA, RHIA, CHP – Visiting Professor
Keith Olenik, MA, RHIA, CHP has 25 years of experience working with provider healthcare delivery systems as a member of senior management and as a consultant. He specializes in methods to streamline business operations, evaluate and implement information technology solutions, and enhance productivity through process improvement. Keith has led the implementation of performance improvement and innovative solutions to business problems for numerous organizations.
He is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association currently serving as a member on the AHIMA Foundation Board of Directors. He has also participated in many different groups focused on development of electronic health record legal standards and best practices. Keith is also a member of the Health Information Management and Systems Society.
Keith received his Bachelor’s degree in Medical Record Administration from the University of Kansas and his Master’s degree in Health Services Management with an emphasis in computer resources and information management from Webster University. Keith started his own consulting company, The Olenik Consulting Group back in 2005. In addition to these activities, Keith has been a speaker at various conventions and educational seminars on legal health records, electronic discovery, HIPAA, and project management.
