Pamela S. Greenstone, MEd, RHIA – Assistant Professor
Pamela Greenstone is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Master’s in Medical Education, August 2010. She attained her undergraduate degree in Health Information Management from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI . Her career path has taken many turns over the past 20-plus years in the HIM field. Her varied roles have included Tumor Registrar, first-line HIM supervisor, Director of Medical Records, home-based transcription, Director of HIM at a long term acute care hospital/ skilled nursing facility, Senior Data Quality Coordinator and Director of Coding & Technical Services within a large children’s teaching hospital. Her adjunct instructor experiences include Davenport College in Battle Creek, MI, Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and four years with the online HIM program at University of Cincinnati (UC).

Pam is the secretary of the Greater Cincinnati Health Information Management Program and she has been a speaker at this organization’s meetings several times. Her speaking topics have included Managing a Remote Workforce and Teamwork. Pam is also the Project Lead for the Ohio Health Information Management Association — Educator’s Group and Scholarship Project, 2011 – 2012.

Pam has three daughters- the oldest is a graduate of the UC School of Nursing, the middle daughter is a senior attending the UC College of Business and her youngest, is a senior in high school. Pam and her husband attend most football and basketball games at UC.
