We recommend you search for a program that has regional accreditation, dedicated full-time faculty, high student satisfaction, and minimal travel requirements. Unlike correspondence courses, UC's distance learning programs are not self-paced or independent study. They have the benefit of traditional education, like instructor-led structured curriculum, with the convenience and interactivity of online technologies.

I am not computer savvy; can I do this?

Yes. We understand that some students are novices when it comes to computers; therefore, the University of Cincinnati provides technical support for all its students. Technical support is available online as well as by phone. Online support can be accessed anytime of the day and computer technology professionals can be reached by phone seven days a week to assist with computer issues. A formal orientation will also be conducted which provides hands-on experience using distance learning tools. This helps to make students comfortable with the technology involved before classes begin.

How many classes will I be taking at the same time?

Our program is designed for working professionals with busy lifestyles. You will only take one course at a time every five weeks. You will have access to your course 24 hours a day and the coursework can be completed around your busy schedule.
