ONLINE HIM DEGREE CURRICULUM
The Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management is a degree program that is specially designed for busy HIT professionals. As a student in this program you will be assigned to a small cohort of your peers led by a faculty member. This learning community will interact with you through online communication tools such as the discussion board, weekly chat sessions, Wikis, and e-mail. All course content including multimedia lectures and e-learning tools, will be delivered directly to you via the course Web site.
Courses are scheduled in two five-week periods per term to allow you to focus your studies on one course at a time. This pace allows you to successfully complete the Bachelor's degree in HIM in only 9 quarters (2 ¼ years). Below is the course of study prescribed for the BS degree.
